Welcome to NJS Livery & Riding School in Bucks

We offer all levels of horse riding lessons whilst providing excellent facilities, making the most out of your time in the saddle.

The yard provides excellent livery in Aylesbury, Bucks.

All of our riding school staff are BHS qualified and will help you to plan and meet your specific horse and riding requirements.

Horse Riding Lessons For Everyone

Here at NJS we have horse riding lessons to suit everyone. From group and individual riding lessons – flat and jump work to horse riding parties and hacking out.

If it’s a while since you have ridden and are a little nervous then we have several horses who would be perfect to get you back riding again. We are a small and friendly stables and make sure all of our pupils get individual attention.

All riding abilities are welcome, including nervous riders and beginners.

Summer activities

Clear round jumping – Sunday 19th July – 11am
£5 to hire a horse or pony and £4 each a round of jumping.

NEW DATE Pony morning – Thursday 23rd July – 10am – 12.30pm – £25
Suitable for all ages and abilities – come and join in with some mucking out, grooming and riding of course! Bring a snack and a drink.

Gymkhana – Friday 7th August – 10am – 12.30pm – £25
A chance to play races and games whilst having fun with the ponies.
Rosettes and sweets will be awarded. Limited spaces available to book early.

Picnic Ride – Wednesday 19th August – 10.30am – 1pm – £25
Join us for hack out (little ones will be lead) to Folly Farm.
We will enjoy a picnic – weather deciding – in the field or barn. All ages and abilities are welcome – bring a lunch with you.
Please note there will be no cantering on the hack.

Dressage Clinic and Test – Friday 28th August – 10am – 1pm – £25
Ever fancied having a go at dressage but are nervous to try? Open to adults and children the riders will be grouped for training and then have a chance to ride through a test and be judged if they choose to.
